I love your word for this year. I cert...Hi Christy. I love your word for this year. I certainly need to learn to wait, too. My word for last year was "trust," and this year it's "follow." Too easily I make plans and then ask the Lord to bless it instead of sitting at His feet waiting to hear what His plans are for me. My desire is to surrender my own plans and follow Jesus and His plans for me. Wai...That word, wait, is a tough one, isn't it? Waiting can be so hard, but well worth it when we slow down and wait rather than steamrolling through life. God has been teaching me to slow down, to notice the beauty in the ordinary. I don't do it perfectly, but I'm learning and my word intentional will help me learn to be slow and deliberate, waiting on God and His timing in my life.
